I think it is too small....d'oh!
I put the front valence up to it and im going to have to trim some for the fan to clear....d'oh! :?
not much though. :D

with hopes I am going to prime the oil pump tonight and finish the engine compartment this weekend and get it ready for the install. woohoo!

Very nice, what radiator is that? I just noticed mine has a tiny little crack near one of the mounts. I could have it fixed but it is pretty beat up anyway so I was looking at some of the universal Griffin's in the Jegs book. Do you have room to mount the fan on the inside? That is how I have mine, I have two small fans though, not a house fan like the one on yours.
Good job.

it is an afco. I got it off of ebay. it was like $180....to me that is CHEAP for an aluminum radiator. all the welds look top notch also.
I don't think the fan will mount on the inside, but maybe with two fans you would be able to position them out of the way of the water pump pulley.

thanks.
I did a quick search on ebay and found this one.

Thanks, I may call that place, they are in IA right by my companies home office also, I could save some shipping by having one of the guys there go pick it up.

I ended up buying a new Howe from Summit (that is what I had in there before so all my mounting brackets fit fine) Runs perfect, it was 200 bucks plus shipping and it is gorgeous.

LUV4ME;
Still curious on the front shocks/coilovers you put in and the spring rate.
Have you gotten it out yet?

your doing the right thing man, i wish i could take my own advice but once you get pissed or frustrated on something, you gotta walk away for awhile, or you'll end up breaking something. your body will tell you when your ready to work on it again and you'll be in a good mood so you won't break whatever it is :)

I pulled a 20 foot boat with my Mikado in 94. Little truck, big boat. And she pulled it gracefully!

I thought the bumper was going to go. The truck barely had enough power to get the boat out of the water. It was smoking the tires all the way up the ramp, but she pulled it out!

I was suprised that I did not have to do mondo repair work to it after that.

Which reminds me of the topic.

Which is better the aluminum radiator that you can get special order or the aluminum/brass/copper that you can get at the standard store?

I would think the latter because of the cooling properties of all three, btu you never kno.
