hi i have a stock 79 luv and i was woundering if putting a 3 1/2 inch exhaust tip on it if it would make it sound any different/ better? i cant really afford a hole new system because one i cant even find any were that make headers or anything that have the smog hook ups. and i just dont really have the money to replace the hole thing. THanks

It wont sound any better might look good, all you can do for sound or performance is cut off the mufler or cat but you still have to smog it. bad idea it will sound like a mad squirrel.
