I have a three inch shackle lift on the back and the torsion bar cranked to level it out. Can I put LT235/75R15 tires on the truck without traimming the fenders or anything? I'm also looking for some cheap steel wheels 15"X7" or 8" if anyone has some lying around. Don't care too much what they look like, so long as they're not bent. Thanks.

I think you will be fine in the back, but with the front I think you will have to trim the lower front section of the fenders just a hair so they will clear the tire during hard cornering. Trimming should be very minor and I don't think anyone willbe able to notice.

I'm running LT235/75R15s right now. 2 inch body lift, about 2 inch suspension lift, and they would rub if the fenders were not trimmed. In fact if I hit a parking lot with a big dip coming in and the tires turned sharp it will just barely rub the floorboard. I have to try pretty hard to hit a driveway hard enough to do it though. You could probably drive without trimming if you were very cautious, but no jumping those curbs.

My fenders are trimmed back to just a tad behind the first bolt on the bottom. Even parked right next to my stock 2WD you don't notice it unless you bend down and look at the two of them. There is also a small chunk taken out of the fender in front of the wheel but it is completely covered by the bumper.

It also depends quite a bit on wheel offset. I'm not sure what the wheels I'm running are for offset but they do not stick out much. They look pretty much like zero offset, but its hard to tell. You put something under there that sticks the tires out more and you end up with more rubbing in some areas and less in others. Too much inset and you'll rub the frame, to much out and you'll trim the fenders the hard way.

Trimming the fenders is really no problem, not too concerned about the asthetics of the truck, just pure utility. But think I'll be able to do it without the body lift? I can get the tires and wheels cheap through my boss, but the lift I'd have to pay for...I work at Wal-Mart = I'm broke.

i am running 255/60/15s on the rear and 215/65/15's on the front.
i also have the torsion bars cranked all the way u and my fenders are trimmed in the front. it still rubs on the left floor board if i hit a turn to hard, but i think the torsion bar on that side is weak. cause the right doesn't do it.

good luck, and happy LUVTRUCKIN' :D :D :D
