i have a 79 4x4 luv and i have the front torsion bars allmost fully tightened and i was woundering if 28 or 29" swampers would fit on it. and if the stock motor(rebuilt with 1500miles) could pull them. now please tell the truth i know the motor isnt going to pull 33" great and have enough power to spin them! i can either get 28-8.5-14 super swamper tsl or 29-10.5-15 swamper thornbirds. will any of them fit my truck or do i need to cut the fenders? if anyone has any pics of there truck with those size tires on it without a body lift or anything i would love to see it. AND WERE CAN I GET 15" TIRES FOR MY TRUCK? THANKS FOR READING PLEASE POST

i would do a body lift and get some 31 inch bias ply MT baja claws. they go almost as good as a bogger, but they will actually CLEAN with an under powered rig. i think i am going to do this, but i am going to find some trooper pumpkins(4.56) to go in it to pull the tires better.

ooh no offense but i saw so many people get burned on the baja claw tires i worked at a tire shop they look neat but they just dont hold up from what i seen they wear out quick too

swampers will get you farther than claws...not to mention cheaper too!
