If I ever get around to ordering one of those dash caps, do you all think it would look good smoothed and painted the body color? I think it would look good with the contrasting black of the original dash pad showing. Would make some door panels out of sheet metal and paint them as well.

I sure hope a smooth dash looks good. I have made my own out of metal and will be painted to either match the truck color or be an accent color. Keep an eye out on my project as one day it will be finished.
