Looking for a little weight savings and possibly better control. Has anyone done the swap and noted if there is any weight savings?

Somewhere on here I posted a side by side weight comparison of a s10 spindle/rotor assembly, a Mustang II set up and the stock one. The Mustang II was the lightest, the rack installation I didn't do, as I didn't see any real benefit, but it is a mostly bolt on affair, and it weights slightly more than the steering box, but you would gain a little room there.

All in all, I think it would be a worthwhile swap...

Scott’s Hotrod has a clip for the LUV with Mustang II components. They are in Oxnard California.
