I had my truck on the intetstate, first time after rebuild break in. Engine kept running but no power when I gave it gas.

Shop made me a new gasket, changed the fouled plugs. Seems to be fine now.

Is this common, or do I have another problem?

Did you have a carb backfire or anything that would cause a big pressure spike?
