Depends how you drive too, im running the stock rear end with a SBC, not very powerful but still a V8. Once you start with traction or a stall or something along those lines, your rear end is done. But you should be fine with normal street tires and "normal" driving habits.....(but who the hell drives like that?? )

Hey guys. Don'tforget about Mazdas. Measured the ones on a late 80's truck of a guy that I work with. EXACT MATCH! Even their factory "wagon wheels" or spokes would look good painted to match. Everyone of these companies almost always puts aluminum rims on their trucks NOW. And I don't believe any of them have ever changed their bolt patterns. Do more research or just do like I do, carry a tape measure with you everywhere. Check them in a parking lot or gas station.

some nice looking wheels that are real popular right now with the nissan guys are the cadillac escalade wheels....17x7... also the Yukon Denalis wheels looks bad asss...

with everyone that has these vehicles buying 20"+ wheels there is a rather abundant supply of these stock wheels on ebay at a good price.

a nice alternative to running a 15" which everyone has?!

but what would I know....I have only been doing this mini truck thing since the mid 80's :P

BTW, I said nissan becasue they use the exact same 6x5.5 that we use except the hub diameter is a bit larger in diameter. The nissan guys use the escalades and yukon denalis, they take the wheels to have the center bored out to a 4" od and then they bolt right on.
