So I'm wanting to drop my stock 79 mikado 3 inches, any tips tricks hints would be appreciated. Also how hard is it to block the rear end and just crank the front end down, also will doing it this way ruin the ride totally?

Most people just crank the torsion bars down to lower the front. You can also reindex them for better ride quality. Do a search here for reindex and that should give you info on that.

Be sure to get the front end aligned after doing anything as it will screw with it.

I also put shims on with my blocks to get my pinion angle correct. Cutting down bumb stops helps with the ride also.
