I have a 76 shop manual I can look in but I'm not sure it's the same. I'll have to look for you later today since I'm on my way out the door.

I kept having problems with my factory wiring and it finally pissed me off and i ripped it all out and replaced it with a Painless Wiring harness. The harness was pretty easy to put in, plus it uses a newer style fuse block. Rewired the whole truck front to back in one weekend. this probably doesn't help you much though.

I used to know which wires to attatch to the internal regulator alternator, because I did it a long time ago, but I have since rewired the entire truck.

if I remember correctly. there are 6 wires that go to the regulator. 3 from the alternator and 3 that go out to accesories. strip the loom all the way from the regulator to the alternator and take out the wires that go from the regulator to the alternator. lengthen the wires that went to the regulator. they will be the wires that go to your alternator.

as for the electronic distributor is it an HEI? if so all you need is 12Volts from the switched side of the ignition. there should be a wire on the passenger side fenderwell for the distributor that you can use.
