Hello fellow LUV owners. New to the forum. I'll be posting pics of my truck soon. My question is HID lighting. I really need to upgrade headlights. Any suggestions? Right now has 2 stock headlights and light as good as candles.

I did a Hella H4 conversion on my 79, they work great. You can even upgrade to brighter bulbs or do hid kits in them.

That is the part number for the square dual element lights. Autopal E code equivalent in the round ones are the ones you need...

I bought some bright standard bulbs from rockauto that worked great. They have a maximum brightness category for bulbs mine were plenety bright to make people mad and cheaper than an hid conversion.

The reason I was asking about dimming the hid lights is I have a set on a 53 chevy belair. They dont dim they have a shutter that lowers over the light covering the top portion. I have a g37 that works the same way from the factory.
