When installing the new bolts it's best to adjust/install them with the weight off of the truck, put it on jack stands on the frame.

Luvrv8... do you know where to get replacement bolts? I did have the truck on jacks on the frame when trying to lower... to no avail they both still snapped. Any idea on the size I need to replace them with and where to purchase any?

Frige in the post above is trying to give you a couple for the price of shipping. They need to be sprayed with penetrating oil a couple days before adjusting as they rust. These are not common bolts, you won't find them in a store, you should be getting back to Frige and make that del happen as he is being very nice to remove them, take them to the post office for the cost of shipping. If you don't take them I will just in case I need them later.
