A local guy tells me he has a glass slider for my 74. Anybody have a clue how much I should pay?

Most mint luv truck parts are hard to put a set price on. If you're restoring your LUV, you're probably willing to pay more money then someone who's just trying to find a new back glass since his is broke. Whenever i found nice luv parts i was already ready to pay for them since they are hard to find.

That being said, id pay around 100$ for a new sliding back glass window if i was looking for one.

Yea, a hundred bucks came to my mind when I read the brand new part.

Well this is going to be a shock to you guys but...$10 is all I am going to have to pa for it. This old boy made a lot f money doing upholstery work and selling/installing auto glass. He wants i to go to someone who can use it and get it out of his garage! That and it helps I BS with him...he is 84 and most of people nowadays don't sit down and take the time to listen to these old boys anymore. I hope to pick it up tomorrow.

Sweet. In his day $10 was a lot. lol Yep, it's good to sit and talk with the old guys. You can learn a lot that way.
