I pulled the 78 LUVS bench seat for some repair and found several wires unattached on the end under the seat but appearing to run under the floor mat and maybe up to the radio... A previous owner had done a fair bit of work putting in a radio/CD player and speakers behind the seat. Anyway, they obviously do nothing and my question is probably just philosophical ... Should I cut them out, or just neatly bundle them up and tape off the ends? Just wondering what others thought.
Thanks
M

Lets answer a question with another question: do you ever plan to reactivate these speaker wires?

The corollary to a 'no' answer would be: how lazy are you?

There are wires to the seat belts that turn off the warning light when the seat belt is buckled.
There are also wires that go through the floor to sensors in the catalitic convertor that I think connects to a heat light on dash, but this might only apply to California Models
