Morning friends. I decided to pull the bench seat from my 78 and remove the seat cover a previous owner had put on (camouflage!). I expected to find a mess but actually the seat cover is in amazing shape. I'm wondering if it is original. It is a blue suede fabric that appears factory installed. The truck was originally light blue.
BTW I tried to upload a pic of it and was told the file was too large(?). Not sure how to fix that. It is a pic taken with my cell phone.
Advice on the pseudo suede seat cover? Maybe original?
Thanks.m

My light blue one had darker blue vingl . I swapped it to blue velour . My 79 Mikado had the factory pattern inserts that were all torn up . I found a Cessna airplane unpolstry the was more durable and had very similar colors , but different pattern . 10 out of 10 no Luv owners would never know .

That looks fantastic. I assume you had an upholstery shop do the stitching? Now that I have the seats out I would prefer something like that as opposed to some tie on seat covers....

I supplied the material , enough for the seat , door panels and kick panels and they took care of all the repairs . Labor was $500 . Material was about $100 on the Mikado . The Blue 78' was just the seat for $270 out the door .
