I've seen plenty of posts about how to adjust them, but I have no idea where they are. 8O
Post a picture?

cant post a pic right this second but if you look under either side of the truck around the back of the door there are parts of the frame that stock out 8" or so inward. if you follow the toraion bar back they end there. and each one has a big 22mm bolt head on the bottom turning this bolt adjusts the toraion bars

I don't think 22mm is big enough, more like 27mm or 1-1/16".

I've read that you need to also reindex the torsion bars after clocking them down.
How? I don't know what I'm looking for to be honest.

If you are just looking to lower it you don't need to re-index them. I have always just used the adjusting bolts to achieve the ride height I wanted. If you are laying under the truck around the rear of the trans looking forward you can't miss the ends of the torsion bars and the adjusters are right near the ends of the bars. The bolt head will be on the bottom of the cross member and you will see the threads up above going through the end of the torsion bar. Screwing one direction lowers it and the other way raises the truck. I don't recall which way is which though. Also I always turned each side the same number of turns. I think I would go 10 complete turns then do the other side 10 turns.

So I have been meaning to come back to this.

Does anyone have a picture of the adjustments? Any picture I've seen doesn't match up to what I'm looking at.
