I have a 1972 LUV and want to swap front drum brakes for Discs. I believe I have to change the spindles to 1976 or later, correct me if I am wrong. I can not find the spindles. Can you help?

you may have to go with junkyard spindles im not sure if you can find new ones. but you can use early trooper front rotors ob luv spindles. they are vented vs the solid luv discs

You don't need to replace the spindles.

Thank You for the info.

I am glad I don't have to change spindles.

I am planning to order 1986 Isuzu Trooper front dics brake kit and flex hose, don't know about proportioning valve.

Hope brake people know.

Thank Again!

i got 85 rotors
check in ebay you can get the slotted, drilled and vented 85 trooper calipers for a great price.
mid way thru 86 basically everthing changed so theres a risk of getting the later 86 stuff. not sure if brakes changed or not i know for sure the earlier ones work

I haven't tried anything out yet, but I assume I can swap the front disc components from my '79 4x4 to my '76 2x4?
