I want to get an aftermarket race style leather steering wheel for my 72 luv and im confused about how it will fit. Are most of those aftermarket steering wheels on ebay for like 40 bucks all universal? I just dont know if the hub for the aftermarket wheel will fit on a luv steering stem.

I'm not totallynsure butbhave you considered a mikado steering wheel? The three spoke metal/leather. They look pretty sharp and are factory for luvs so no issue swapping

A tip: if you don't have power steering the stock steering wheel diameter is 17", with power steering size is 15". The smaller wheel with manual steering will make it even harder to steer than it is now.

as far as i know it wasnt maybe he meant if your taking a wheel from a later isuzu?
but back to the op's question you can check out a mikado wheel. or pull your wheel and get measurements tonsee what else may fit
