I figured with original bumpers in good shape about as rare as a dome light its about time for a thread of the different bumpers people have made work over the years.
Anyone running anything off a different mini truck, narrowed muscle car, fullsize? Whatever you have post it here

I have thought about this but when I see bumpers I like they look too big height wise. Even though I have a factory rear bumper I still think about something differant.

I need to do some size comparisons but the late 60s camaro bumpers narrowed would look good..
I saw a narrowed ford van rear somewhere on the forum. Toyota truck or s10 maybe?

hotrod80 talked about doing a ford van rear bumper. I think height wise its taller then the stock one but would still look good.

I need to figure out what to do for the front bumper, mine is bent to sh*t and rusted as well. Looks ok to leave it off, smooth hot rod look, but that wouldn't be my first choice. Everything I look at (other small truck bumpers) are wider and therefore would cover or hide the gravel pan.

I couldn't find a stock rear one, so I narrowed an s10 bumper. I think it looks good (tighter on the sides than stock and fewer bumper bolts), but after the cost of finish welding and rechroming, it wasn't exactly cheap.

When it was done, an original came up for sale on this forum and I felt like a jackass.

It would be nice to find a stock Luv rear bumper and brackets. I'm going to check with a local bumper exchange. They straighten bumpers and sometimes don't mess up the chrome.

Ive got 1, Its straight with good brackets, Looks like it was a painted step bumper. It could be cleaned up and dipped.

Can you put an 80-81 front bumper on a 76, or will it look like $%^& because the profile is different? I can get a used one in good shape for $75 but I'm not sure it would look good on my LUV.
