My '79 is now on the second bench seat that the springs broke. I'm figuring I might get more mileage out of a newer seat; anyone know if there's a DIRECT bolt in bench that will fit? P'up? S-10? Don't want buckets.

While technically not "bolt in", I am in the process of putting a bench from a 90 pup in my 79. I was going to swap the tracks over, when, after measuring, I saw that the track width on the seats are the same. I am jut going to use bolts instead of just the nuts underneath and drill two holes at the front of the tracks. The fronts line up with the angled down part of the floor, as the tracks are that much longer. I will seal the old holes with with some sound deadener. The newer seat is quite a bit different in build and I think will be much better.
