I'm swapping my newly aquired 77 luv from the 4 head light set up to the 2 light set up and was wondering about how to go about wiring the high beams in to the low beams so everything works like it should. Any help is appreciated

Looking at the wiring diagram it looks like the two headlight system shares a common ground so all you should have to do is cut your two wire sockets off and wire them to a 3 wire socket.
