I have a set of nissan pathfinder wheels and center caps for them. The rear fit fine but up front i have about a 1/4 in gap between center cap and rim because of the dust cap. I did a search and found that people are either taking off the dust cap or using a wheel spacer. I was wondering if any one had any other suggestions, if not what kind/brand of spacer would you all recomend?

Get a thinner castelated nut from the local bolt supply, install it. Drill the spindle for a new cotter pin hole, then cut the excess off. Then you can either cut/weld the dust cap, or flatten it slightly...
