any tips and good ideas about fixing these? i can fit my hand up in the inside, but have no way to tack it from inside. I dont wanna just bondo over it, i feel like it would rattle off. how should i do this?

A 110v MIG would be ideal.

But if that is not possible.
Grind the backside, use a good 2 part automotive epoxy adhesive, place a patch from the back side larger than the hole. When the adhesive sets up, sand and bondo.

thanks guys! i do have access to a welder, so im gonna just tack and grind. It looks like it worked great on that ranchero, so if its good enough for that, its good enough for me haha

Take your time and dont get it to hot so you dont warp the door. Them metal in the Ranchero is thicker than our pop can trucks!

To help weld them closed, pull a nail with a large head through the hole, then weld. Had a body man show that to me and it helps having more metal to weld with. Just cut the nails off after welding, grind, bit of body filler if needed, sand, and your done.
