I have a 75 with a Chevy SB, TH350 and 8in 3.55s. This is a driver/weekend racer. I am upgrading to Aerospace front discs and would like to do the coilover setup. I was trying to tuck the front 3.5in wheels in with short A-arms. I understand that DHP is a no go for control arms anymore. Is there another option out there? If not stock will have to do.
I have seen several threads dealing with removing the torsion bars and replacing them with QA1 coilover shocks. Can you guys who have done this chime in with QA1 part number and spring rate in lb/inch?

I can't recall the exact part number, but mine are 350# springs and are 7" compressed (I believe), adjustable. They sit nice in my truck, and I have a 350 in it...

If I order the QA1 coilovers and the eye to stud conversion kits from QA1, will they bot right in with no other modifications? Will I have to do anything to the upper shock mount?

I took a piece of square metal channeling and welded it to the shock tower, then drilled a hole and it fit in nicely. I don't know about the stud conversion, my intuition tells me it won't fit due to how rotund the coil overs are. Maybe it is simple as redrilling the hole...
