Crank assembly froze while opening drivers side window. Have not ben able to disassemble it yet to fix it. Still trying to get factory bolts off. Has this happened to anyone else? I've never had a crank style window freeze up before like that. Can they be rebuilt? Is there a company that sells new replacement? Eventually would like to upgrade to electric, but when I can afford it. I purchased this 1979 Mikado in 1992 as the second owner, and will be pasting it down to my daughter this next year. Any ideas and or help is greatly appreciated.

I doubt they will be available new. 1978-1980 will interchange, as long as they do not have the vent glasses. (some people have changed out both doors to run the wing windows, so don't just go by the year)...
