Last night i noticed a sever bounce in the rear end of the luv and upon inspection the rubber bushing that pins the shock to the axel and to the frame are both GONE so the shock is no longer doing its job.... since i occasionally haul weight in the bed and don't feel like doing an overload shackle i am looking to do a coil over in the rear.... and since im tired of fighting with the t-bars and there weight i want to just remove them all together.. the easy part is making the brackets to convert the front from a strut to a shock....

the question them becomes what length shock shaft and tube do i need to go with, i know shocks have a lot to deal with on compression, and extension?
as well what weight spring do i need to go with

future setup after much thought and conversation i will be doing a small block swap next spring, engine wise i am looking for between 175-250rwhp (over stock curb weight there's an additional 100-150# of audio and electrical gear.... and my 200+# butt driving)
