Can you guys believe this???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-CHEVROLET-L ... ed&vxp=mtr

$175! Someone is on to us. That's simply ridiculous. Does this mean LUV's are officially a collectors item now?

I am going to recreate this forsaken part in CATIA and have it 3d printed so we can end this nonsense. I bet it'd only cost about 15 bucks to print, and a buck to mail.

You do see this is the same seller right? Either the first guy didnt pay or he has more than one and hoping one the other guys will jump on it. I would pay a pretty penny for some luv items but not a dome light.

Ah, so it is! I'd guess the former. 175 bucks, wow.

Especially for a dim dome light that will rot away like all the others did. I do believe a custom upgrade is the best thing to do for the dome light. Even in another 50 years, I don't think an all original LUV will be bringing in $100k at Berett Jackson Auction.

I think the last auction ended up being a bidding war, and the guy thinks they all will sell for that much. Notice! there are no bids on this one. If I can find one that is reasonably priced fine, if not, a Toyota, Ford Courier, ect ...........

What's a "wreaking" yard? Is that where they wreak havoc?

D's aren't a bad thing... DD's are better... I did the same as Karl and grabbed one from a Mighty Max. Simple install and works fine.

I got this dome light at the junk yard out of a Windstar to upgrade my windstar. Mine doesn't have the map lights. Also it's the same style as my Ford pick up has. Well instead, I put it in the LUV today. The doors operate the center bulb (my truck is a Mikado) and the switches operate the map lights.
It's a bit big, but it will work for now, and my daughter will be able to see where to put the key when she drives at night. 8)
