20 Years Late.
We installed a Hooker header set with engine mounts years ago. Bellhousing bolts and spark plug access was always a pain.
Dieter, our chasis man, noted that the engine setup was an inch to high. We pulled the engine and tranny and he built a new
set of engine mounts and lowered the tranny mount 1 inch. He then cut off # 1 and 2's header tubes and made 12 different cuts and
welds to allow plug access with a plug socket. Last night we installed the plugs in minutes!
Now comes a question. Would this mod change the pinon/driveshaft angle?
Last winter we installed Cal-Tracs and spent alot of time calculating angles.
I'd hate to see these angles moused.

Im going to say yes , unless he lowered the unit ( motor and trans ) exactly the same . How much angle did you use with the caltracs setup and what are your 60' like ?

I assume you guys are talking angle plug heads?
