ok so i picked up an electric distributor off an 84-85 trooper (of course i forgot the ignition control module and the trucks gone) so i will need to pick something up.. stock for an 82 luv new is almost 200 and so is an msd 6a (6200) the 6al (6425) seems to be the same thing but is $20 more and is what msd has listed... i know the msd icm and a higher voltage coil with a wider gap will provide a msd, hotter spark with a larger gap thus releasing better transfer of energy... is this the way i should go or are there other options??? (i have used an older 6al)
