I dont like to answer questions like this because it boils down to your preference. What do YOU like? you dont want your truck painted the color that somebody else wanted do you? Also what is your goal with this truck? show, magazine or just a good lookin LUV driving down the street? magazines dont like to photo darker cars especially black cars. also the darker colors show off flaws in the body work a lot more. red or bright colors grab peoples eyes but you dont really want to grab some cops eye when rollin down the street...i could go on and on. but basically I would look around at the other cars driving around you and try to imagine what your truck would look like with that color on it. go to a place that sells car paint or a paint shop and borrow some paint chips and hold them up next to your truck. I think this question can ultimately only be answered by you.

Do you want to blend with the crowd or stand out from the crowd. I think it's all up to you.

Go to a car show. If you cant find a color scheme that doesn't grab you, then go with primer. If you cant decide on what color primer(grey, black or red) buy whatevers on sale. Then concentrate on getting it to drive well. All go and no show! People will think your truck sucks until you open it up and fry some rice.
