Ok while I wait for homegrown to get in touch with me for the dash. I decided to get my cnc up and running again. was looking to see what parts we would like to see made like grill emblem piece that you can't find or the side emblems. let me know I can make out of plastic or polished aluminum. or anything you can think of for emblems

as i said in your repo dash post... i am intrested in getting one of your fibberglass dashes when it happens but im strapped for $$$ till march... one thing that i and or others might be intrested in if i/they were to purchase a dash from you would be a dash grill that is easily removeable from the dash (ie bolted) to allow acces to the speaker under it... having a chevy or luv logo milled in to it might be cool as well but untill i have cash to throw at a dash and they get maid this is just an idea

id like to have some side logos and a front logo. Maybe post a couple of the different logos and see what people would want. I myself like the retro looking ones.

With Ben's permission of course.

I'd really like a bowtie for the grill that's just simple polished aluminum. The same size and shape as the original but with no milling or grooves in it.

I'm in the process of doing body work, primer and of course the top coat on my 1980. In the process I did the art work that duplicates the original 4x4 on the tailgate. I will probably make them in a larger size to incorporate on the sides of the bed as in the original decals shown in the 1980 Chevy LUV dealer brochure. My colors are the orange, yellow and black but can be made to order for other requirements. Anyone interested in getting the decals can let me know. As of this time I can't give a pricing but will figure it out if of interest.

Anyone know a manufacturer who can provide sill plates that work?

I can't help with the bowtie, but I have seen them on eBay.

You have a great looking truck. It's hard to imagine one with so little miles and in such great condition. I think people will think I am crazy when they hear what I have spent fixing up mine. My advice to you is to double protect the dash that you have now as it will never be replaced with with anything other than a topper. The dash surface shrinks like crazy and when exposed to sun can go to pieces in as little as four years. Armor All does nothing to protect it as the plastic still gets rock hard then splits.
