i know someone did the swap with a tilt column from an old chevy truck or something like that domt remember what exactly but it can all be done if you have the time and the tools. airbags would be a little harder with the wiring aspect but still doable. get a set of 4 or 5 point harnesses and call that your airbag

you kno i thought of that? Sparco makes a custom bucket seat that would match the drivers side holes, except youd have to drill 2 holes for the right side. Haha but its a 4x4. So id only go with that unless i had some bahemth motor in there. haha Theres a guy 2 countys over with a luv thats lowered. With a 502 big block. Talk about power. BUt im still put-put with my 1.8. so that be kinda crazy i guess. But hey, it was jus somethin for us guys to talk about and debate over. Im sure an older s-10 column would fit maybe? Ill have to investigate.

even if it doesnt fit exactly you can cut and weld it to fit and be fine if you make sure to reinforce it.

502 0.o holy hell that would go great with a corvette rear end conversion

im working on setting my 1.8 up for turbo, got the turbo and some of the parts sittin around now, gotta make a few junkyard runs for a 5 speed and the trooper intake to convert to efi. i plan to post up the whole turbo swap process so anyone interested in doing it to their luv can see a step by step with my setup. hoping to do a "budget build" but keep all my bases for fuel, ignition, temperature control completely covered to keep it safe and reliable.
