Gents,

Just wondering, what is the widest rear wheels you guys think will be able to fit between the inner edges of bed on a back half job on my 72 Luv (without having to modify the rear fender wells)? I am going with a narrowed 9 inch full tub and would love to go 15x15 wide on the wheels, just wasn't sure if I would have enough axle housing left to mount a 4-link and the coilovers. Just looking for some input from some of you who have already done this and who may have gone with 15" wide wheels. Thanks.

Without modding the wheel well you will not get those on it...

Your frame rails will be about 22" outside to outside to fit a 15x15 wheel that would mean about 22"s between the wheel wells about 15"s narrower then stock.

I had to install tubs in my bed to fit the 15X15 rims with 31X15X18.5 tires in. Dont ask about the frame, its a total back half.
