I seen an article years ago on doing a tilt front end on a luv. They cut straight out from the rear hood gap and down the contour of the fender. And then angle cut to the fender wheel opening. The reason for this is because if you tried to make the entire fender assy's swing, there would be a very ugly area of cab that would be exposed. From what i've seen and looked at on my truck, i would say it isn't worth the bother. You would have to lose the bumper to get the swing you would need. You would need to build a frame to hold your hood and fenders together, your radiator cant swing so it would need its own structure to keep it in place. The battery would need to be relocated. Thats a lot of work to get only 3/4 of the assy to tilt. And the rest of the fenders (between the wheel and door) would have to be reinforced to keep the same contour of the rest of the assy. My advice is if you want something to tilt, work on the bed. It might be out of style nowadays but it sure is functional....

Jegs used to sell a kit for that but i havent seen it in there for a long time. the rest is molding or welding the fenders and hood together. You're going to have to remove the fenderwells and radiator core support, fab something to hold your radiator in place and relocate anything that was once bolted to the fenderwells (i.e. fuse box, regulator, etc.)
