Alright guys i need to know what to make it out of and how to make a roll cage for a 78 luv. I will be salvaging my rolled one for use as a swamp buggy type thing. I will not be using any body parts (except the bottom half of the cab) and will whant to enclose the motor whith the cage as well. Anyone have advise on this, or pictures?

You can make them out of either mild steel or chromemoly. The moly cage is a lot stronger and a lot lighter but it costs $$$$$$$$$$. standard diameter is 1 5/8" for a cage. (cant remember what wall thickness though. I wanna say .120 or .134 for mild steel)

you will also need access to a hydraulic tubing/pipe bender or preferrably a mandrel bender. gotta have at least a mig welder if not a tig.... a tape measure, a disk sander/grinder, a level, an angle finder, soap stone or sharpie marker, ummm what else........
