I would like to know if anyone out there has installed the Areospace front brake kit on their LUV trucks and if so how much of a bolt on is it ? I'm looking at the Pro Street Kit AC-247VR. Also if you had any other problems with the conversion like brake lines, that sort of thing ? What I would really like to hear is, how much you like the way the brakes work .

I have never herd anything bad about them from those who run them.

Thanks for the reply. If you have any pics of the brakes I would sure like to see them. Have you run with them yet, or not? Thanks, Brian

The first time we used the Aero system they were put to the test.
Crossing the finnish line at 120mph Phil realized the throttle was stuck and before he knew it he was at the return road turn off. The good brakes made it possible to stop in time.
The problem was a throttle blade was missing the screws on the bigger carb we were testing
and this jammed the throttle wide open.
Our old carb was installed and he made another run. Crossing the finnish line at 119mph the
throttle was found to be stuck wide open. This time Phil was unable to slow down enough to
turn on to the return so he turned on to the sports car track. The corner people were a bit
tic!
The fiberglass firewall insulation had not been removed and it had jammed the pedal wide open. The Aero brake system saved the day for sure.

It was great to hear how the brakes worked for you that day, sounds like it may not have gone so good if you had mediocre stopping power. Thanks for the reply, I need to hear these things before I go out and spend that kind of money. I'm finding out that LUV truck guys are quite a cool group that seem to have this strong bond and help each other out. Thanks again.

I have a question, I see that they have a street kit and a strip kit at aerospace. Would the strip kit work for a street truck that had limited street use? My truck is only driven for pleasure and not daily use.

Thanks
