was just curious if a flat bed off an 85 Toyota would fit a Luv. Also isn't there something on here about a toyota disc brake conversion.
I founone I can get for 200 and it ran when it was parked ayear ago. he said the doors and stuff are banged up though. Just was interested in the bed maybe.

The flat bed would be pretty easy to adapt to the LUV frame as every thing is in the open and you only need 4 of the mount points to make it work but the more the better.

Most flat beds are mounted with long all thread and a plate top and bottom with holes in them. Square top u bolts will work too. Use at least one plate, flat bar through a hole in the frame and go to the bed frame on both sides and drill 2 holes in that frame and bolt them. DO that at a angle. That will keep the bed from being pushed forward or pulled back. We would weld a piece of flat bar to the bed frame and the frame at a angle. avoid the curve at the top and bottom of the frame and bed frame with welding. That was how we did it when I was in "dat" business.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
