anyone know about how hard it would be to put the luv body on the 85 s-10 blazer chassis with the blazer engine and tranny? my tranny is blown and repair shops quote me 700-850+ to just fix the stock 3 speed automatic and i cant seem to find a used one right now so i was wondering about the price and fabbing work involved because doing something would be better than letting my luv just sit and rott thanks in advance

I had a '85 S-10 Blazer, it was a real dog. Granted it was a 4x4. But still, stay away from the 2.8L V6 engine, and I'd say that you could get your trans repaired for cheaper than swapping the body over.

True, the good ol 2.8 has been known to be a pooper....

but it can be built up, so not all hope is lost. 330Hp is not that hard to reach.
