Where are the VIN on a Luv truck?

My truck has a metal plate inside the drivers door by the latch with the vin on it.

thats where im is too but its starting to get hard to see . i have been told that there is a vin on the frame but i have looked and i have not found it yet

pull the cowl vent.

its the tray where the wipers pass in the front.

under it on the drivers side is one of the body vins.

If it is on the frame it will be on the trans X member facing forward on the driver side between the trans and the torsion bar.

use some steel woul on the vin plate and it will show up better

No stock trans x member. I will see if I can look under the cowl. They need to see one to do a State Inspection on it.

with the one on the door jam tape it off spray a lil black paint then wipe it off and the paint will stay in the groves were the # are and you can see it better if you just take it to the chp they will look it up for you
