 Post subject: FRONT COIL OVERS AGAIN

I know this subject has been talked many times.
For anyone that has done this, what was done to the torsion bar, just cut it off where it comes out of the lower control arm? I am going to do this soon, it looks like a fairly simple mod.

that is all I did. I cut them off and drilled a hole in them for a pin.
beware....they are hardened or sumpin...they will chew up a sawzall blade with a quickness.

I just unbolted the rear adjuster,took them off and pulled torsion bar out.Picking up correct spring for coil over tommorrow.hopefully try to install this weekend

what coil over springs are used? Does someone make some for the luv, or are you using some from another truck? I am interested in doing this mod, any help would be great. Thanks
