Through my 14 years of detailing cars Ive found that Armor All actualy does more damage than good. Ive had a ton of customers say" I use Armor All on it all the time and the parts still crack" Then I have to break it to them that the water and alcohol base will actualy dry the meterial out and hence, cracking. Makes most poeple think theyre an idiot for using the stuff, but if you dont know, you dont know. The silicon in it leaves a shine and appears to be helping when its actualy not. Ive talked with many others in our line of work and we all seem to have the same oppinion. So if youve got some in your garage throw it out and buy a quality product. If your an Armor All faithful Ive probably offended you. Sorry, just trying to spread some knowledge.

you gotta go out and buy the good stuff from an auto detailing supplier. some stuff i used the past called True Blue or Super Blue worked good. Have never used Armor All on a customer car. Used to run a high volume detail shop in the late 80's

Yep!!! I quit using Armor All in the late 80's due to the result of it destroying the dash in my LUV!

I havent heard of anything negative about black magic. Ive used other products of their line and was pleased with them. I just realy try to stay away from any water based dressing.

Send me your adress and Ill get you some. Wont be Meguars, but itll be even better. The stuff I use is softer and you can use just about anything as a lubricant for it.
