Ok ctmandu this one is for you. what the heck does this bed look like? I can't understand why it was so long. It was 84" now 66" Here are some before and afters.

well belive it or not thats an cali bed made for the 1977 1/2 and newer ford courier long bed very rare... some one found it and put it on your luv, california step side bed was the only one that had that bed (box) design... here is a pic of a long bed, the only one i have ever seen...the pic was fliped backwords so the fuel one is on the right side just the pic is wrong, sorry. the image is for the luv long bed...

that looks very close. what about the tailgate. the one that was on it was totally flat in appearance and was latched with chains and eye bolts. are we on the same planet man? lol :rip:

my tailgate had a full width piano type hinge for some strange reason. Oh well ''''' a freind of mine is working on a new wood inlayed tailgate and I'm working on the metal tailgate frame. will be one sweet stepside some day soon....
