Good news! Ive started a project with an ex- boss and good freind to duplicate the early Luv front valance in fiber glass. May take some time to get it right. Im excited about it as Ive seen a number of posts requesting valances. It would be great to make metal ones, but we dont have the knowledge in that area. I will post progress as we go. Maybe after we get this one right we could work on the later model valance if we can find one to copy.

The early model seems to be the one that is most needed. The later model is 90% hidden by the bumper so less likely to be trashed, and less likely to be noticed if it is a little tweaked. This is some good news for the early year LUV owners though. Good luck and I'll keep an eye out for people to send your way.

I would love to get one. I have the skinny one from the late model LUV if anybody needs it.

This valance is the really skinny one, not the big tall one most people like myself, need from the early LUV's. It is in good shape and if I get the valance I want, you can have it for just shipping.

Cool thatll work. Things arent going as smoothly as we would like, but we are doing what we can with what time we have to spend on this project. Hope to have better news in the days to come.

Keep us updated...I need one of the skinny ones for a 79. Whenever you get to it that'd be cool.
