ok I am stumped on one part of the spindle measurement :?

I could measure a-d but not e on the drawing below cause this part I believe is where the caliper bracket mounts and its oblong shaped so I don't know how to measure this or if I am thinking of wrong part of spindle

Thanks for any help

ok found out (E) is the second step up from shaft really thin didn't notice it... I thought they were wanting the width of where the bracket bolts up to I was like huh its oblong haha. I believe this (E) is where the seal covers I believe???
