people keep asking about seats so here is what i found out today... i picked up some recaros from an 83 bmw e21, 3 series 320i and trial fitted them to my next project and come to find out the door side seat mount on driver and passenger line up perfect to drop bolts in and mount the seat, you would only have to put a spacer in to level it out... on the in side of the seats the holes line up perfect on the raised flat spots on the floor, drill 2 hole and there in...oh and there are pics with and without head rest to give you an idea what they look like

I love Recaros. Some of the most comfortable seats made. In a lot of things, Mustangs, VW's GTI's, GLI's too.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Are Recards something that came as an option from the dealership or are they strictly after market?
Eventually I want to swtich to bucket seats in my Luv and like to hear feed back form tohers in what their choices are.

Some were in high end or performance cars from manufactures. I like the older ones. New ones are a little harder for big butts to fit in.

Were else would you find these seats in, and are they expensive to buy new?
Looking to replace bench seat with buckets, wanting something that fits and holds you in well.
This is for my 79 that I'am converting for rock crawling.

Those are nice seats just need to be redone.
I have a seat of Yonaka Samuri cloth that i put into my 240.
They have the Universal slides so they are an easy install into anything.
I would recommend them for an easy simple stright forward install for any car.
