Yep, I have 2 batteries mounted in the bed of my truck. One on each side behind the rear wheels.

I have mine mounted in front of my fuel cell which is in the far back of the bed in the center.

i have mine mounted in the front of the bed, fuel cell centered and the battery on the passenger side corner.
