New member here! Just purchased a 1976 Luv, Two wheel drive, stock.(first one) and would like to put larger tires on it. What bolt pattern do they have? Will a 235/60/15 fit with no problems, front and rear? What backspacing will work?
It is rust free, with a strong running 1.8. Needs Paint. Maybe a good V8 project in a couple years. Going to be a daily driver for now.

First welcome.

The bolt pattern is 6 x 5 1/2". The backspacing is determined if you want the tire to stick out or not. I have 8.5" wide wheels with 5 1/2" backspacing but they dont hang out of the fenders.

The bolt pattern on a Luv wheel is one of the most common ever used. Basically wheels that will fit any 6-lug will fit.

But if you are going to go with real wide tires in the back, you will have a problem with back spacing to keep them from rubbing the inside edges on the rear springs and the frame. I custom-ordered mine with 2.50 inch back spacing...but I don't know how that will work on a stock fleetside bed. They might stick out too far and rub the outside edges on the fenders.

I have a stepside bed...so I just had to worry about back spacing.
