Id send some pics, but theres nothing left. What I did was removed the fenders, hood, grille and headlights and buckets. unbolt everything from the inner fenders and cut out whatever is between you and the engine. I started from the firewall side and cut straight up and then cut up from the radiator support to the top of where the fender mounts. If you cut out the inner fender you will still have about 4 bolts on the firewall side and 4 or 5 bolts on the radiator support side. cut little by little til it gets to where you want it. Just be careful around all that sheet metal as it cuts quick and deep. When you get the inner fenders out id take a small ball peen hammer and find the lip that runs along the transmission tunnel and beat it flush with the floor, this will provide a little extra room that you will need when dropping in the v8. Its not that hard, Just get a couple of cut off wheels, a pair of safety glasses and go. Good luck..

Those wont be connected anymore because what they bolt to (the inner fender) are gone. Bolted up, the fender is well attached at both ends because it bolt on at the front (where the headlights are), at the side (behind the door and down under by the pinch) and the top (firewall side and radiator core support side) If you have the means you can just weld up the holes along the top that show when the hood is up.

The fenders just bolt to the core support and the firewall and below the door
