Sweet. How long did it take to make the new rockers? What gauge of metal did you use?

the metal is 1/16" ....so thats what? 18 ga?....i have always sucked at gaugeing metal

took about 25 min. to cut, lay out, and bend all 4 peices......of course this was at my guard unit...where there is a bigass hydralulic sheet metal shear and a matching bigass hydraluic metal brake :D

Well I don't have a bigass hydraulic shear, or brake. I have a stomp shear and a people power brake. I am gonna make my own rockers I guess. I even have a roller so I can contour the metal slightly.

LOL! That's good that you beat the piss outta them. Piss is corrosive to metal and will promote rust in the future. Piss free rocker panels is the way to go.

I can understand your frustration, I bought what I thought was a tidy truck last year but when we decided to prepare it for painting the sills were filled with old newspapers, wood and fibreglass then catted over the top!!!!!!!!!! :?
I ended up just scrapping the cab and replaced it with a good one.
