Some may not consider this an upgrade, but I want to camouflage my truck. Has anyone done this? Is there any recommendation for patterning? I'm using the Krylon Camouflage Spray paint system. The reason I'm doing this is 1) cost, 2) ease of repair, 3) durability and lack of a need for major maintenance. Lastly, I'm debating on a Winter/Urban or Woodland style color. Any opinions?

Thanks!

Dude, that would rock! I used to see the Marines doing it on my ships all the time. I just never knew they were pre-made patterns. Thanks!

There's a military camoflage for fighter jets that is blue, light blue and grey. I think it's called Meditiranean camoflage. I seriously concidered doing that with my truck when i had all of the patches of primer on the truck. I was thinking of going all out with a fighter jet theme with "caution" and "warning" stickers and "No Step" decals. Also thought of using the last 5 digits of the V.I.N. for the tail number. But without a wing of some kind on the truck, it would have seemed odd. Maybe it would work out on a Camaro or something.

How could we have known you would find a way to do a Blue Camo? LOL! I think I know what you are talking about, and have seen it before, but I can't remember where. I'm kind of leaning toward the "Urban" type with shades of grey, black, and white.

My brother and i camoed a john boat when we were kids. We set it upside down on a set of saw horses, and went to the hardware store and bought two different shades of drab green, some brown and some flat black. We painted the hole thing black , then we took turns with the other colors and then we thought it would be cool to paint leaf outlines on it , so we got some maple leafs and laid them all over it and sprayed it some more... took the leafs off and man it really looked cool! I think it would be cool to do a luv in treebark camo!!

I agree that tree bark would be the way to go, but too clomplicated for me. I mean, how would you do it?

i know it sounds weird but i thought it was kinda cool 8) ill try and see if i took a picture of it, and post it.
same trip also seen a desert camo pepsi trailer (i know i got a pic of that) and some kinda old (like early 80s) buick station wagon that someone had decided they wanted a convertable, and cut the WHOLE DAMN TOP OFF!!   (i never did get a pic oF it tho :( )
